The image was taken at Montrose Station.  I had some time to kill while my wife attended an appointment, so headed to the station with the hope of seeing something interesting on the East Coast Mainline.  I actually failed at the shots I really wanted with the longer trains, but I was pleased with the outcome on this one.  The train wasn’t actually moving very fast, but the longer shutter allowed me to achieve the sense of speed I wanted. As such, I had to close down the aperture more than normal to avoid over exposure.
