We were entertained and educated in equal measure at the 10-min talk / AV competition in which we were treated to a very wide range of material – thanks to all those who took part. In what was a difficult competition to judge, President Dallas finally awarded two first places as follows: Francis Gillespie for his highly entertaining and novel talk / demonstration of photogrammetry (creating 3D digital maps from multiple 2D images), and Bill Paton for his evocative and very seasonal AV entitled ‘Winter’. Congratulations to both!
